Stages

The Six Stages of a Shipment

1- Share your shipment for an eligibility review

Start with the actual products, buying country, destination, approximate quantity and desired delivery point. Add the sales channel and any liquids, batteries, ingredients or other handling needs.

You and your supplierShipax
Provide accurate product details, value, packing information and supplier location. Flag potentially regulated characteristics.Review the provided information for the proposed service, identify gaps and explain the next review step.

Result: A preliminary service review, request for more details or notice that the proposed shipment cannot be handled.

2- Review the quote and agree the service

Confirm the supplier handover point, destination endpoint, shipment size and any specialist handling. Review what is included, excluded and potentially payable separately.

YouShipax
Check the receiver, importer role, duties and taxes responsibility, charges and delivery endpoint before approving.State the proposed services and charges, assumptions and any outstanding details. Confirm collection, clearance coordination and delivery only when included.

Result: An approved shipping scope and quote before booking.

3- Prepare documents and approvals

A commercial invoice and packing information are common starting points. The products and route may call for additional labels, specifications, permits or transport safety documents.

You and your supplierShipax
Supply accurate transaction and product details and arrange the approvals assigned to the relevant parties. Obtain correct dangerous-goods classification where applicable.Identify documents needed for the agreed service, flag missing information and confirm who prepares the quoted transport or customs paperwork.

Result: Required paperwork is ready for the next step; a document check does not grant import approval.

4- Coordinate supplier handover

Agree whether the supplier will hand the goods to an appointed collection provider or deliver them to a specified receiving point under the quote.

You and your supplierShipax
Make the goods ready, pack and label as instructed, and share the collection or drop-off details. Report changes to quantities or ready date.Confirm the handover method and coordinate with the operating party when this service is included. Follow up on reported differences.

Result: Handover under the agreed arrangement, with differences addressed before onward movement.

5- Move the goods and manage destination requirements

The shipment moves under the quoted transport service. The importer and any appointed customs provider may need to complete destination formalities before release.

You or the importerShipax
Respond to information requests, provide required permits and pay the duties, taxes or other charges allocated to you.Coordinate the quoted movement and available milestones. Work with an appointed provider on customs coordination only when included.

Result: Goods reach the destination process, subject to required approvals and release.

6- Deliver to the agreed endpoint

The endpoint is set in the quote. Marketplace warehouse handovers and direct-to-customer delivery need specific confirmation for the proposed route.

You or the receiverShipax
Provide receiving instructions or booking references, accept the goods and report discrepancies through the agreed process.Coordinate delivery if included, share available status and help resolve reported delivery exceptions within the agreed scope.

Result: Delivery to the quoted endpoint, with receipt evidence where offered by the service.

Questions about the Process

Do I need every document before requesting a review?

No. Start with the product, route and approximate shipment details. We’ll identify what is needed for the proposed service. Required documents must be ready at the applicable stage.

Who prepares the commercial invoice and packing information?

The seller or supplier normally provides the transaction and packing details. Confirm with your supplier who issues each document and check that descriptions, quantities and values match the goods. The quote defines any additional paperwork Shipax or a partner prepares.

Does the quote include customs clearance, duties and taxes?

Only if the quote says so. Confirm the importer, clearance coordination and payment responsibilities before approving the shipment.

Can you ship perfumes, supplements or products with batteries?

Submit the actual product details for review. Ingredients, packaging, battery specifications and the route can affect acceptance. An enquiry does not confirm that a product can be shipped.

Can Shipax deliver to an Amazon or noon warehouse?

Tell us the marketplace, receiving location and any reference or appointment needs. Warehouse delivery must be confirmed in the quoted service for your route.

When will I receive an update?

Available shipment milestones and communication points depend on the quoted service. Confirm them before booking, especially for time-sensitive stock replenishment.
