We refer to that business as “Shipax,” “we,” “us” and “our” below. If another entity independently decides how data is used for a particular service, identify it in the relevant booking or separate privacy notice.
This policy covers our website, enquiry and quote process, product review and our own shipment-related communications. A carrier, customs authority, marketplace or other independent organisation may also process information under its own privacy rules.

Please share only the personal information needed for the enquiry or booked shipment. Do not put passwords or full payment-card details in an enquiry form. If we need sensitive identity or regulatory documents, we will explain the reason and the approved way to provide them.
We use the relevant information to:
Documents may include personal details about the supplier, importer, shipper or receiving contact. We use those details only as needed to review the request, prepare the agreed service, communicate with the relevant people and satisfy applicable transport, customs or record-keeping requirements. We may ask you to correct or provide missing information before a shipment can proceed.
If you give us another person's details, provide only what is necessary and make sure you are entitled to share it. The information may need to be passed to the parties listed in “Who We Share Information With” for the relevant shipment.
We may send service-related messages about an enquiry or booked shipment so we can respond to your request and administer the service. These are separate from promotional emails.
You can opt out of promotional messages using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Opting out does not stop necessary service communications.
Where necessary for the stated purposes, we may share relevant details with:
The particular parties depend on the route and quoted service. A reference to a type of provider does not mean that service is included in every shipment.
Shipment information may need to be shared with organisations in the buying country, transit locations or destination market for the route you ask us to review or book.
The seven buying countries and three destination markets advertised on Shipax describe possible shipment enquiries; they do not, by themselves, identify every country where personal information is stored or accessed.
We keep information for a period appropriate to its purpose and any applicable legal, tax, customs or dispute requirements.
When a retention period ends, we delete, anonymise or securely dispose of the information according to the relevant system and legal requirements.
We take technical and organisational steps intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access should be limited to people and providers who need the information for their role. No transmission or storage method is completely risk-free.
Depending on the law that applies to your information, you may be able to ask us for access or a copy, request a correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain uses, withdraw consent where we rely on it, or ask about a transfer of your data. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
To make a request, use our Contact page and describe what you need. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity before sharing or changing personal information. Some information may have to be retained for a legal obligation or an active shipment or claim.
Links from Shipax to marketplaces, suppliers or other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Please review their notices when you leave our site.
Shipax's services are intended for business users. We do not design our enquiry forms for children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review it.
We may update this policy when our services, systems or legal requirements change. The date at the top will show when the current version was issued. Where a material change requires additional notice, we will provide it in the manner required by applicable law.
