Tell us what powers the product and where the battery sits in the box. ShipaX helps marketplace sellers, authorised resellers and wholesale traders plan cross-border shipments for commercial resale after product and route review.
Product Enquiries
Cameras, speakers and handheld devices with fitted or removable batteries.
Remotes, watches, novelty items and toys with installed or spare coin cells.
Tools and devices sold with separate packs, chargers or replacement batteries.
Power banks, replacement packs and loose cells need their own review path.
Identify every device, additional battery, charger and other regulated item.
Ride-ons, scooters and energy-storage equipment require a specific mode and carrier check.
Configuration First
The battery is inside the device it powers. Check its capacity, numbers and protection against accidental activation.
Assess its intended use, claims, ingredients, labels, responsible business and any registration or permission.
Replacement packs, loose cells and power banks may require a different classification and carrier arrangement.
Battery Specification
Confirm lithium-ion, lithium-metal, sodium-ion or the actual non-lithium chemistry.
Provide rated Wh for relevant rechargeable batteries or lithium content for lithium-metal batteries.
Count cells and batteries in each device, retail kit, carton and consignment.
Flag used, returned, safety-recalled, damaged or swollen products before any booking.
Supplier Information
Match the technical documents to the exact battery and device model. The operating party determines which papers, marks and labels apply to the booking.
Packing and Condition
Agree the actual transport package before supplier handover. Retail packaging alone does not establish compliance with the mode or carrier.
Protect exposed terminals and prevent contact between batteries, devices and conductive materials.
Prevent fitted devices from switching on or generating heat during transport.
Cushion batteries and equipment within a suitable outer package; identify any required marks or declarations.
Disclose swelling, leakage, overheating, safety defects and the reason for any return before quoting.
Destination Preparation
Check whether the model is covered by an applicable UAE technical regulation and ECAS assessment.
Explore the UAE →Check the relevant SASO regulation and Saber conformity route for the product or separate battery.
Explore Saudi Arabia →Check the model's safety and electrical obligations; consumer goods with button or coin cells can have mandatory compartment and testing rules.
Explore Australia →From Review to Delivery
Model, battery chemistry, capacity and placement.

Potentially, after review of the actual battery, product, package, mode, carrier and route. An installed battery is not an automatic acceptance.
No. A battery outside the device it powers may fall under the packed-with-equipment provisions. A separate replacement pack or power bank may follow a battery-only path. Declare the exact retail and outer-package arrangement.
No. Chemistry, capacity, condition, configuration, packaging, mode, operator and route determine whether a compliant option is available. ShipaX must confirm the actual scope before accepting goods.
Ask the battery or device manufacturer for the rated Wh value for each cell or battery and its corresponding model. Voltage and amp-hours may help verify it; do not guess from the retail listing.
Applicable manufacturers and distributors must be able to make the test summary available. IATA says it is not routinely required with every shipment unless a state or operator specifies it; your operating party confirms the actual booking requirement.
Do not assume so. A power bank whose principal purpose is to supply power to another device is reviewed as a battery for transport. State the model, Wh rating and retail configuration.
Do not dispatch it as ordinary resale stock. Safety-defective or damaged lithium or sodium-ion batteries presenting heat, fire or short-circuit risk are forbidden by air under IATA guidance, including when installed in equipment. Disclose the reason for any return and request a separate assessment.
No. The importer or seller must establish the applicable product-safety, conformity, labelling and marketplace requirements for the exact model and market.
