Compare the weight on the scale with the space your packed carton occupies. Use the result to plan a business shipment, then confirm the charging method for your service.
Read the Result
The gross weight of the finished packed carton, including its protective packaging.
A weight equivalent based on the carton’s outside dimensions and the selected divisor.
Commonly the higher measure, subject to the agreed rounding, minimum and multi-piece rules.
Length × width × height ÷ selected divisor = volumetric weight (kg)
Read How Is Chargeable Weight Calculated? for a fuller explanation.
Suppose a carton measures 50 × 40 × 30 cm and weighs 8 kg when packed. Its volume is 60,000 cm³.
With an illustrative divisor of 5,000, volumetric weight is 12 kg. The higher figure is 12 kg before rounding.
With an illustrative divisor of 6,000, volumetric weight is 10 kg. The higher figure is 10 kg before rounding.
These divisors show how the same carton can produce different results. They are examples, not a statement that either divisor is available for your ShipaX shipment. The agreed service may also round dimensions or weights, apply a minimum, or use another charging method.
Before You Quote
Include protective packing and protrusions. Recheck after the supplier changes the carton.
Enter each carton separately, or record the quantity of identical cartons. Do not add dimensions into one imaginary box.
Combining supplier stock may change the piece count.
No. It depends on the packed dimensions, gross weight and divisor. Under services that compare the two, the higher measure normally controls.
No. Confirm it for the specific provider, service and measurement units. An example divisor is not a ShipaX service term.
Enter each carton separately, or provide the quantity of identical cartons. The provider may also apply shipment-level rules.
